We want to give you $200 for bike school
GoTriangle, in an effort to expand cycling resources and commuter options, is offering a limited number of scholarships for the $200 registration fee to the League of American Bicyclists (LAB) League Certified Instructor (LCI) course in Greensboro, NC, on May 18 – 20, 2012. In order to be considered for a scholarship, you must submit no more than two (2) paragraphs describing why you would like to become a League Certified Instructor (LCI) and how you would use your Certification to improve cycling and commuter options in the Triangle. You must also meet all of the following requirements:
•Live or work in Wake, Durham or Orange County
•Commit to assist in at least one GoTriangle Bike to Work Month activity
•Meet both of the two (2) prerequisites for LCI training:
- League of American Bicyclist Member
- Completion of the Traffic Skills 101 course.
One course will be offered prior to the scholarship deadline:
Sat., April 21, 8AM-4PM
TS 101 Class in preparation for May LCI class, Location TBD
$90 per person (cost includes time and materials)

Scholarships are open to the public and funded by GoTriangle, a partnership of public transportation agencies and organizations funded to promote commuter benefits in the Triangle.
